TiltValue Leaderboard: August 12th

There hasn’t been much of a shakeup near the top of the leaderboard as it’s now being finalized with enough of a sample — Alejandro Rosario is at the top of the list and was written about in a previous post. Logan Henderson falls to 4th, but he’s already at AAA after starting the year at High-A and Milwaukee doesn’t seem far off for him. Henderson was a breakout candidate of mine to begin the season and I’m higher on him now than I was to start the year. He looks great. K.C. Hunt is another Milwaukee arm who has put up gaudy numbers this season and leapfrogs Logan Henderson for the 3 spot. Remember though, these are rankings based on the TiltValue formula, not my personal rankings. There are some names here who are atop my pitching prospect rankings and some names like Matt Wilkinson, for example, who I’m not completely sold on still.

Overall the entire leaderboard offers a good glimpse into the performance of minor league pitching prospects through this year so far and can be a resource in shoring up your farm system to end the year.
