TiltValue is a formula I created in the early part of 2023 and it has helped me and countless others identify pitching in the minor leagues long before anyone else gets a jump on them. I’m providing you with all who finished in the top 251 using my formula.
I’ll be updating this weekly in-season, maybe even more often with your requests as it’s proven to be a useful tool in identifying early risers. The basic gist is that it’s a formula using many pitching metrics weighted and scaled differently while also leveling out for age/level performance. I am convinced you’ll find this to be a useful tool in 2024 when you’re scouring the talent pool for pop-up pitching prospects — so that you can have a head start and beat your league mates to the punch.
I’m making the final 2023 ranks free for all to see but once the season begins in 2024 it will only be accessible to my paid subscribers. To everyone who has subscribed, thank you! Many have messaged me about the importance of TiltValue when it came to picking up lesser heralded pitching prospects who then became top 100 pitching prospects. I appreciate all of your comments! To those who haven’t subscribed — hopefully, you’ll see the value TiltValue provides (sounds redundant) and consider subscribing so you can dominate your league in 2024 — hoarding all the top pop-up pitching prospects before anyone else. (I’ll have a primer on HitTilt+ — which is my formula for identifying offensive prospects — later in the week)
Let’s get to it: Below will be several graphics that show the top 251 pitchers in the minor leagues based on TiltValue:

Happy Prospecting! Enjoy your week, everyone.
Just wondering what the model sees or doesn’t see that doesn’t have tink hence ranked and has Jared jones ranked so low?
