HitTilt+ Leaderboard July 29th

I’m going to have two separate HitTilt+ Leaderboards — one for affiliates of Low-A, High-A, AA, and AAA — and one for DSL/CPX hitters.

Let’s get started with the non-DSL/CPX affiliates:

I know it’s trade deadline season in both real life and also in most fantasy leagues — Scrolling through the list of over 1400 qualified hitters ranked according to their HitTilt+ will serve as a good resource to replenish your farm after dealing some minor leaguers if that’s the situation you find yourself in. I’m using it as a gauge to replenish my farm since I’ve dealt several minor leaguers for Major League talent as I’m making a push come playoff time. The entire leaderboard will be posted as a link at the end of this post. But first, let’s get to the DSL/CPX leaderboard:

Jesus Made is still one of my favorite targets from this crop and I’ve written him up before, however, Rainiel Rodriguez of St. Louis takes the top spot. He’s on one hell of a heater right now as he’s hit 8 homers in his last 12 games. He’s posted a 14.5% BB rate while posting a sub-10% K rate in that time. The numbers are bonkers and he’s still just 17 years old for the remainder of the season. He’s hit several balls over 108-109 mph already and has shown he can be a 20-25+ HR power threat. He’ll need to continue showing a fine approach as he’s shown lately, but he is a name to officially keep an eye on.

Franklin Arias is another player I’m adding and doing so in bunches. I’m officially more than just intrigued by the profile and want to get in on him early just as I did with Jesus Made. These are still young players but Arias has shown a good approach and has shown he can hit for power while also running like hell. I think he’s better than the scouting grades assigned to him. Go add him before it’s too late.

There are over 900 players on the DSL/CPX HitTilt+ Leaderboard and it’ll be a helpful resource in deeper leagues to pick up on some of these guys before your league-mates, especially with the trade deadline right around the corner. Replenishing your farm and maintaining a deep farm is crucial to future success. I will post both links to the leaderboards below.
