2024 Dynasty Targets at 2B

It’s 2nd Base Target day over here at Prospect Tilt.

Mookie Betts is the unquestioned top-dog at the position, but you’ll have to pay a pretty penny to acquire him or use up your top draft capital to have him on your team — if you don’t already, which in that case, good job.

Mookie’s gotten better over the last two years and while 25-35 stolen bases are probably in his rearview mirror, you’re getting a new iteration of him that hits for average, gets on base, and slugs 35+ HR. It’s a good trade-off. But only one team can have him, so for the rest of you out there, let’s take a look at some 2B targets that can yield you value at their current ADP.

The above lists six 2B from July 1st onward in 2023 and yes, one of them is Mookie Betts. It’s probably obvious which one it is after taking a hard look. But there are still five other names that you can target that produced well over the 2nd half of the season last year. In this initial phase, I’ll go over these five, but I’ll have some more names that have nothing to do with these 2nd half splits & data because I think that sample can sometimes be too small. It’s something to consider, but it’s not everything and in a vacuum, you have to consider other factors as well. First, let’s see who these players are:
